NON-MEDICAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Different Gifts.

Same Mission.

Our non-medical volunteers are the backbone of GOOD CITY HEALTH.

Whether you are welcoming patients, interpreting, stocking rooms, praying with patients, helping behind the scenes, or serving at a special clinic, your time and talents help make compassionate care possible.

MORE THAN A VOLUNTEER SHIFT

Why Serve?

Serve with purpose

Use your time and talents to help make compassionate care possible for neighbors in our community.

Be part of a team

Join a community of volunteers who serve alongside one another, encourage one another, and share a common mission.

Leave encouraged

Serving others has a way of giving back. Many of our volunteers leave feeling encouraged, connected, and renewed.

WAYS YOU CAN SERVE

There is a place for you here.

Every volunteer brings something different. Explore our non-medical volunteer opportunities and discover the many ways you can use your time, skills, and interests at Good City Health to serve our community.

Administration & Clinic Support

Help Good City Health run smoothly behind the scenes.

Opportunities may include front desk assistance, patient check-in,  credentialing support, administrative projects, communications, social media, photography, and other operational needs. Some administrative roles can be completed from home and may offer flexible serving times.

Spanish
Interpretation

Help patients feel understood, welcomed, and confident in their care.

We strive to have Spanish interpretation available whenever the clinic is open. Volunteers help patients and medical team members communicate clearly and compassionately throughout the visit. Spanish fluency is especially helpful, and interpreters may assist with check-in, patient flow, and communication during care.

Spiritual Care &
Hospitality

Help create a space where patients feel seen, encouraged, and cared for.

Spiritual care volunteers help us live out our Christ-centered mission through hospitality, encouragement, and prayer. This may include welcoming patients, helping them feel comfortable during their visit, offering prayer when appropriate, and simply being present with kindness and compassion.

Clinic Reset &
Stocking

Help keep the clinic organized, stocked, and ready for every patient.

Volunteers help reset rooms between patients, restock supplies, organize patient-care areas, and prepare the clinic for the next shift. This behind-the-scenes work is essential to keeping the clinic running smoothly and helping our medical volunteers focus on patient care.

Special & After-Hours Opportunities

Serve at evening, weekend, specialty, or community clinics as opportunities arise.

Good City Health occasionally hosts clinics and events outside our regular hours. Non-medical volunteers may assist with hospitality, patient flow, interpretation, setup, cleanup, check-in, and other support needs. These opportunities can be a great fit for individuals or groups who cannot serve during our regular clinic hours.

Garden & Group Service Projects

Put your hands to work through gardening, special projects, or group service days.

Help care for and improve our clinic garden through planting, maintenance, cleanup, and seasonal projects. We can also welcome churches, businesses, schools, and community groups looking for a hands-on outreach opportunity, whether for a single service day or an ongoing partnership.
