MEDICINE CAN BE MORE THAN YOUR DAY JOB

Why Serve?

Serve with purpose

Help remove financial barriers to timely medical care for people in our community.

Use the gifts you already have

You don’t need to learn an entirely new way to serve. Bring the skills, experience, and training you already use every day.

Reconnect with why you chose healthcare

Serving can be grounding, encouraging, and renewing — a chance to care for people in a different way.

There is a place for your skills.

A small, consistent commitment makes a big difference.

We ask our regular medical volunteers to serve approximately one four-hour shift each month. Consistent serving rotations help us build a dependable clinical team, create smoother clinic days, and allow volunteers to become familiar with our patients, staff, and systems.

REGULAR CLINIC HOURS

Monday • Wednesday • Friday
10 AM–2 PM

CAN’T SERVE DURING WEEKDAY HOURS?

We also welcome medical professionals who are available for evening or weekend specialty clinics.

Providers need a different schedule?

We can work with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to create specialty clinic times that fit their availability.

Your license. Your skills.
The right scope of practice.

Every Good City Health medical volunteer is credentialed and privileged for the role in which they serve. Licenses and certifications are verified, and clinical privileges are based on each volunteer’s training, experience, and professional scope.

Whether you are a physician, nurse, medical assistant, EMT, paramedic, phlebotomist, or another licensed or certified medical professional, we want you serving confidently within the skills and responsibilities appropriate to your role.

We verify current licenses, certifications, and qualifications before clinical service.
